You might say there are lots of reasons you can’t create a marketing video right now but we’ve got 2(D) or 3(D) reasons you can! In this episode, we talk about why animation is such a powerful (and practical) marketing tool during the COVID19 pandemic.

Video is a big part of what we do at Upswing Creative, and it’s a huge part of how marketers connect with their audiences. This year 92 percent of marketers who use video say it’s an important part of their strategy.
Right now, because of social distancing, it’s hard to capture original footage to create new videos. But that doesn’t mean you can’t produce compelling video content. And that’s where animation comes in.
At Upswing, we’ve been using animation to help our clients market their products and services for years; and there are some really compelling reasons to consider it for your next marketing campaign.
First, animation makes it easy to communicate facts and figures.
Whether it’s through complex infographics or simple text, animation provides a perfect way to share important information.
Second, the controlled environment of animation allows us to share your message, exactly as you intend it. Whether it’s complimented with on-screen text or matched with scripted voiceover, animations allows us to craft every single moment.
Third, animations let you communicate things that are unseen. Combining graphics with stock or original footage is a powerful way to articulate the invisible; and with 3D, you can help take customers inside a highly-engineered machine or showcase a product that’s still in the prototype stage. Finally, animations just look good. That PowerPoint you’re putting together, it’s fine; but an animation’s gonna knock their socks off.
Animation is highly powerful. And while many of us are working remotely, it’s an especially high value way to leverage your marketing budget.
